Hello,

Could it be a steel mesh or iron shaving from a machine shop, allitle h2o + time. It looks like it would rub off... or atleast stain deposit lift. We will never know. My guess a value addition...

That bleed in TA looks different to me. The rest looks like same size, very fine, oxidized iron thread... residue. Imho

Lint from a bag or cloth envelope insert. Left in place for a long time.
