By having way to much time on my hands, in these terrible times,
I was looking at some of my coins, to try and take my mind off of it.
I found my 1878 CC PCGSMS63DMPL top 100 vam 11, with lines
in the wings, that I was lucky enough to have seen and then bought
awhile back, all with the help of this great website and all of the work
that it took to make it possible.
Enjoy, Bert

Here's a (compared to a DMPL) lowly but still scarce, especially in GSA, PL 78cc I have currently. Shouldn't last long once I get off my but and move it at wholesale since I got it for a steal.. And, oddly enough, it isn't a v11 which is kind of commonly seen in GSA holders...

I'm so super jelly of your DMPL. I would probably keep a DMPL if I came across one 😎

Yeah, any fully DMPL 78-CC is a prize. It's funny really. The VAM 11 is one of the more commonly encountered marriages in DMPL. I've noticed instances where auctions have tried to hide the wing lines so the VAM wouldn't scare off the 'regular; Morgan collectors.

@CascadeChris what VAM is that GSA?

My coin brain has a hard time believing that 63DMPL is only a 63DMPL.
Since I started looking at them 25 years ago, about 99% of DMPLs of every grade have looked worse than the stated grade. This one looks better.

I am a total dmpl cc nut, as many are deep along with clashes and metal in CC.
Also quite common is slanted CC . of various position doubling
Bert; You and Sandlor are amassing a very nice Morgan Collection

Boy, with this all of this spare time, I was able to find some
of my GSA CC Morgans, that I had forgotten about.
Thank you everyone, for your comments.
Hey Dennis, you saw why I was jumping up and down, on winning
my PGGSMS63DMPL, because I saw the lines (and the way it looks).
Here is one, that I found, that is not graded and is also a vam 11.
I was able to get the cool lines, on the eagle's TF,s, between
the legs.
I learned, that the 1878 CC COA card, is a little expensive, if it didn't
come, with the box and holder.
They were charging about fifty dollars and up, several years ago.
I think a lot of of sellers were holding rge COA cards, when they posted
the GSA coin and holder, then selling it separate, to make a little extra money.
