Morgan 1921-P VAM-1BH = VAM-72/72A ?

I have a couple of examples I attributed to VAM-1BH. The key in the scribbles area are the two diagonal squiggles between the 4th and 5th upper tail feathers. The bent "hairpin" to the left of the 5th UTF is also distinctive.

Absent the bent "hairpin", however, we can also arrive at VAM-72.

1BH and 72/72A show a feed finger gouge at the left wingtip. And both show a small gouge in the second from the top outer left wing feather.

I would venture that VAM-1BH is the EDS of VAM-72/72A.

I need to contact Jeff Oxman and see if he still has the VAM 72A discovery coin. I have the 1BH Discovery. It sure looks like they are the same.
When in doubt... don't.

Should have held them for a few more days. It makes me smile in an odd sort of way....
