Is Morgan 1921-P VAM-1AK an LDS of VAM-40A?

I was working this coin up and arrived at VAM-1AK, based on the diagonal scratch in the bow and the vertical scratch in the inner feathers of the left wing.

Admittedly not a lot to go on.

However, I kept digging around and stumbled on VAM-40A (I have two copies). Low and behold there is a die scratch through the bow that matches the description of that of VAM-1AK. It runs through the bow and up to the lower tail feathers. You can also see the denticle marks to the left of the bow on this VAM-40A.

Interestingly VAM-40A has the die scratch in the left wing's inner feathers.

Also, VAM-40A has some distinctive vertical die scratches through the nose.

I'm not sure where VAM-40 fits in here (if at all). VAM-40A has a bunch of markers (the nose scratches, scratches in the cap and fold, the scratches in the "M" of "UNUM", many scratches on the eagle's right wing, etc.) that should help to determine if VAM-40A and VAM-1AK are related.

If someone has a VAM-1AK I'd like to know your thoughts.

Wish I could help, but I don't have a 1AK.
My 40A, of course, has all of the markers you have shown on your 40A.
When in doubt... don't.
