Wonder if anyone else saw this and if Leroy declined to list it with clashed s in hair V?

May be a possibility.

I have two VAM 58s. One has 2 clashes at the throat/neck, the other has 1.

The 1-clash coin has what I strongly believe is a letter transfer under the clash line. The 2-clash coin does not have a transfer. Both coins have what you show in the hair vee above the crack.

My double clashed examples have that feature at the hair vee as well.

My single-clashed example does not show that feature as clearly.

If it was an "S" shouldn't it be incuse? This looks like it is above the surrounding surface.
