My last FUN acquisition

Post by messydesk » Sun Jan 12, 2020 4:08 am

Picked this bad boy up at about 4:15 this afternoon. It came with a $250 grading credit at NGC. I tied for 1st in their grading contest with former PCGS President Ron Guth. The irony is that I think I missed the correct (according to NGC) grades on both Morgan dollars. :D

WTG John!
I vote that you slap a VSS label on it with your name time & date stamp.

Great accomplishment including demonstrating you are not quite up to "NGC standards" in grading Morgan dollars.

One day, I’d like to have the time to take that test.

Yup. It'd only grade 65 at best because of scuffs on the portrait, so it's a condition rarity. I asked when the NGC guy was looking for it if it was locked away because it was big and gold.

At least they consider you an adult.
