An Acidic Grading Set...

Bet this isn't what you thought it was from my thread title, or was it?

So one or two bulks ago I sent 2 v49's in and they came back 62 & 63 and in the interim I came across another. Sent it in the next bulk and wouldn't ya know... 61

So now the question is, do I keep all 3 and shoot for a 60 & 64 and hopefully a 5 too as a cherry on this Funky sundae?


It's the little things that make you laugh when you now churn & burn massive amounts of Morgans and have relatively little time for leisurely academic VAMming anymore

Hum, there are no known 64 or 65’s!
Now the 60 is possible with the current grading screws that are in place!
Lol The screws are so tight, I sent in a rare Vam for down grade for my Low ball set. It just got a down grade from Xf 40 to 30! I was just hoping for 35!!!!!

Ha! Ain't that the truth Pete. Sent a rare one to NGC recently, it's a solid 2 but was hoping for a 3 gift (especially at NG which is why I went with them obvi) or if they were being jerks and made me bend over.. a 1 at worst.. They 60'd it.. Bastards!

It'll upgrade when they're done being so tight but I can't wait so someone will get a gift. I guess the silver lining is that it'll make for a relative quick sale on a somewhat expensive and popular VAM but in my current hand-to-mouth position, especially this time of year, the loss of a couple thou sucks. Whatcha gonna do though, life is 90% timing.. And hell, maybe 60 is a pop 1 for it lol. I've always been a glass half-full type but


PS: Didn't know 3 is top-pop on the 49. Cool! Thanks for that .. Makes it easier to let them go eventually knowing that finding one in 4, let alone 5, would be such a challenge.

I was at the Vegas show earlier this year and a dealer supposedly sold an H9 or H10 in xf45 minutes before I got to his table. Hashtag gut punch!.. I did win a few hundred on a dollar slot on the way out tho so that helped with the sadness lol.
