Can't find a good fit for this one yet in that it seems to combine some attributes of different VAMs. It has a double clash and I keep straining to see if there are letter transfers combined with re-punched mint mark. Otherwise it looks like V9 O/O Right
While searching I can't get my eyes off what appears to be a faint "E", and none of the VAMs have that. No other strong letter transfers that I see. I inserted the jpg of a strong E to show perspective and it seems to fit. Am I imagining things?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Double clash over wing up towards "In", and double clash under chin. One stronger than the other but you can see both. Single visible impact by eagles right wing.

I see what you think is an E popping out of the wreath leaf but the position is impossible. Very solid, if faint, evil mimic..

I believe you have a VAM-7.
If there is pitting in the D of DOLLAR, then you have a VAM-7A.
Sorry, but so far, no one has found one with any letter transfer.
Who knows, maybe yours is the first.

You are all really good. Thanks for the feedback. I kind of had my hopes up because the "ghost" of an E is generally the right angle and size, but I see what you say about position.
I can see some raised dots and will go with the 7a. Again thanks all.
