I picked up an 1890-O in a NGC holder unassigned. I thought it was a 1E, but the mint mark location doesn't match, and it doesn't seem to match 13A or 14A. Am I missing something?
I have pics of the piece, then crops of the MM location and Date from the three varieties. Am I completely off?
It looks to be a near date, with a high mint mark aligned left.

Looks like V11
Re: 1890-O - VAM 1E, 13A or 14A?
I will check the details.
Then shouldn't VAM-11 be added to the Over-buffed Reverse Die List?

Here's some better pics. The ear has doubling, but no gouge under the ear or below the nose or on the wing across from AM on the reverse.

The gouge you are referring to is PMD
LVA arrow is pointing the minor doubling
On the lobe.
I am not sure if the 11 should be added
To the buffed set. Seems to isolated to be included..
Maybe others will chime in.
