Have you checked to determine whether it is VAM 18 or 18A?
When in doubt... don't.

Mine has the 4th broken star but i cant fogire out if that goes with the 18 or 18a

Yeah, I'm digging it too. Love finding neat VAMs in old TPGS infancy holders.

So here is the choice i need to make we all know its vam 18 but its currently in a graded holder do i take it out send to pcgs or leave it as is

Leave it. The only reason I would even think of doing that is if it had an extreemly good shot at a gem grade. The defunct 80s holder gives it a bit of panache and sets it aside from most other v18's in current plastic.

I disagree. It's not in a current holder, and if it goes 64 it will be top pop. If it has a shot at 64,
i'd send it in.

It has no shot at 64 but a strong condidate for 62 atleast
