Re: Whitman Baltimore May 23 to 26
I would love to. But I can not make it work during little league season.

I went on a Great Research trip to Baltimore occurred Thursday
John Roberts, Rob Franklin, David Mccarthy, Ken Hamilton and his son Ryan & I Topped off with a carnivore dinner at FOGO
A month ago, Chris Simpson contacted me (with the help John B) because he believed he had found what he thought was a missing piece of a major puzzle.
Chris sent it to me and I took it down with my piece and showed them
To John R.
As usual JR solved the riddle in 5 seconds.
It has been suggested that This info should be sent to LVA for him to confirm and possibly do
A write up.
Brian R and I started Another research piece on a group of 21-s but ran out of time to complete.
Found a Bu 1878 -s vam 36 die 3 but as usual it has a couple marks that make it detailed for
ever.

Re: Whitman Baltimore May 23 to 26
kept busy answering questions, selling, and showing coins to pete and JR. found a 1878s v103.5 au58, 1898o v4a ngc64, a somewhat familiar 1879s, and a few foreign doubled dies, and am working to kill 1878s vam 67 or 104. pete showed me pictures of his vam 67 and I said, that's a vam 104. pictures matched. he tried to tell me the mintmark position was different but they are the same dies. the 1921s project is a little trickier. figuring out he striking sequence from a pile of coins with limited time. can't wait to get back to that project.

Big news on the 78-S V67/104 comparison; nice pick on 103.5!

Does your 67 have a polished reverse?
Lewis has both so if Lewis agrees than I defer to him. But I think they are different reverses.
