Since you jumped into a thread about the 1A, maybe go look at that listing then think about it for a minute or two. Some basic logic in play here

Well, first off, the break isn't a break in my mind, it's a gouge and it is on all VAM-1a's (like the ones Russ and John posted here) then the VAM-39 obverse was paired with it, THEN the 39a clash occurred.
This is going to sound very derogatory, but I hope you can see it as constructive. You need to stop trying to cross the finish line and take more time to learn the course you're running. ;)
Oh I don't want you to think i don't listen to anything y'all tell me. I have a notebook full of things passed on to me on here. This'll get added as well lol.

And i don't want you to think i don't do reading and just blind jump to things (ok once in a while). But, let's take the 39A listing... The "Do I have a 1A or a 39" addendum doesn't really say anything about them being the same pair. It just tells the difference. If you read through the listing with the eyes of a new VAMer... It reads like they are two completely different die pairs. It even says "break through wreath like 1A". Not the same break as 1A or die shared with same break. It even says in 39 the break came later in the dies life. How does a break start on VAM1A and also come later in the 39A's life?

If it was paired with it... It was there from day 1.

These descriptions need some clarification...

I just don't want you thinking I'm not reading... But this is why i like learning from coins in hand. I'd rather buy a dud and learn from it and have a solid understanding the next time as opposed to reading listings that are more confusing than Chinese algebra... (Or in cases like the break forming later, but actually being there from day one... The listing is just outright wrong. You all preach for us to read... And then judge us when what we read is incorrect information)

I didn't try to jump into his thread, my hugest apologies if it seems that way, to twohawks and everyone... I was just trying to show twohawks what I thought was a sister coin knowing that he may be the only person more obsessed with E's than I am, lol.

My sincerest apologies @twohawks ...

I hate sit here and quietly let yokel/ant not even figure out what he is not seeing. The 1a and 39a share something HUGE on the reverse. How in the world do you not see it? It is enormous! And as you have been told, your anacs64 coin doesn’t have an E, it doesn’t even have the right reverse! It’s all about the reverse! Read the description! I don’t want to be harsh and drive you away but man, you gotta learn the basics.

If the listing itself is wrong... What do i learn from if not the community?

"Read the description!"

The description LVA himself gives for it says it doesn't have a break until later...

People jump into threads all the time. One idea spurs another. That really is the point of any discussion board - conversation.
That's a very different thing than hijacking a thread. And you raised a question that you should have raised,. The listing on the VAM 39 page is not up to date. I'll go edit it now.

ant?yokel: the listing makes it plain that the vam 1A and v39A have a HUGE gouge through the wreath. that anacs64 does not. not even the same die pair(s). obverse, or reverse.

It does now after it was changed 2 days ago :)

Much better to new eyes the way it's laid out. @vampicker helped new searchers out tons by clarifying the pages. Of which i forgot to tell him thank you... Thank you boss.

sorry, I assumed the listings mentioned the huge gouge throught the wreath. I cannot imagine why they didn't.
