Pretty. Have you speculated publicly about the grade. PL? The denticles appear to be EDS. Nice acquisition. Loren

THANKS Wayne, Rod, appreciate your comments.

Loren, first THANKS!! - Grade, I see 63/4 with REV being PL. 64 is very doable ;) Don't know if she'll get PL on the label. PCGS does this VAM.

That's what I thought about PL. You captured some floating devices on the reverse that often indicates PL. Nice.

This variety, at this stage, is double clashed on the reverse with a single clash showing on the obverse?
Did you notice the blocked off hair V?

Did you notice what appears to be notching of the right wreath? I would not have been surprised had this variety been noted DDR.

Loren, It does mention the right wreath has doubling Toward the rim. That’s why I have a few shots of that wreath.

The VAM Plates seem to show much better definition of the PUPs than your brown and grey photos. Why is that?

The particular model scope does not implement automatic white balance. Grey photographs are taken when the integrated lights are turned on. The digital scope is set to corrected white balance with the integrated lights. Brown images are taken when the integrated lights are off due to difference in color temperature for the external lighting. Whether the integrated lights are on or off changes white balance and the depth of field. The LVA plates are taken with different optics. Plus, LVA avoids white balance differences by converting to grayscale. To a degree, comparing LVA plates to a digital scope is comparing apples to oranges. Each has strengths and weaknesses. And, to a degree, eye of the beholder. Notching of the wreath, for example, is shown much better by Ron's photography than by the LVA plates.

Ron
Nice find, they are available but it's a cool variety. Most should have it on there list to get. The 80 O series as whole is a fun series
To get into.

Alan
