Very nice strike for an 1878 and might get a CAC.

Yeah, last time I saw pictures of a "78 Rev. 79 Proof," it was a business strike PCGS had to buy back.

Less than 50 struck? I'll bet there are fewer than 15 known. Wayne Miller speaks of 4 in his textbook. The most recent sale on CoinFacts is a PR61 from 2000 that I'll bet is the rattler that Legend was selling in 2014 that ended up being a VAM 232 business strike, which got pulled and bought back by PCGS.

It was the one from The Richmond Sale that crossed the block by David Lawrence 15 years ago. Graded NGC PR64. Sold for $135K plus 15% juice. https://www.davidlawrence.com/product/98389/
