Why do you try so hard to hide the date/mm Ant? There hasn't been a new E clash found in many, many years (and I think the last two "new" ones that were listed were subsequently delisted or believed to not exist...), so the chance that someone else, ESPECIALLY here, is gonna say "oh, I have one of those and look at that, there's an E!!" are about a billion times lower than the chances that someone will say "oh, that's a VAM-xx. Yeah, that one had me wondering once too, but nothing doing". In other words, quit acting like you're changing the landscape of the hobby and let these people actually help you get better.
It's my prerogative to keep the coins I'm looking at my own until I've learned from them or gotten the o.k. to give it a shot.
Of course the chances are infinitely small that someone has the matching pair and doesn't know it. It's also an infinitely small chance I locate one at all, and I've seen the types of collections you all keep. Not one piece of me doesn't think there aren't multiple members with God only knows the number of the VAM pairs I'm looking at.
Why does it seem like some of y'all are against me looking at all? In the six months I've been looking for my E, I feel I've gotten exponentially better at understanding what I'm looking at (one to the power of 10 is still 1 after-all, let's be honest where I started lol...)
It honestly may seem like I'm just blasting groups of pictures, but every coin has had a different placement or a different "looking" type of mark I've learned from. I haven't second-defended anything once, and have taken every piece of advice given to me to learn from...
...except giving up. I started looking for this before any of y'all ever told me what it would mean. My very first post ever on this forum was about a new E. I've been looking for one before i knew what a wing clash was. Gaining more experience isn't going to make me give up the endeavour... I'm just going to use it to help me along.
I'm not trying to change a landscape... I'm trying to cut my own path through this forest of PMD. It's slow... but I'm making progress. Apparently.
