1881 S VAM 54B WOUNDED EAGLE
Since I can't search through some of my past posts, on the old Vamworld, I thought I would post some of my most ,memorable finds on the new Vamworld, so I can easily look at them.
Here is my 1881 S ICGMS64, vam 54B R-7 , that I couldn't believe my eyes, when I first saw it late night online.
I thought I was dreaming and quickly clicked the 'BIN' (buy it now).
Enjoy, Bert

Nice! Jealous!...
I'm a huge fan of cracks, breaks, and clashes. That is a keeper!

Nice! I'm always looking for this one as well. Is it still in ICG plastic?

Thank you everybody, Since I don't go out much anymore, it is nice communicate, with people who love searching for these elusive abnormalities, on these magnificent silver dollars, as much as I do.
Yes Dave, it is still in the ICG plastic, because when I look at it, I want it to look the way the it was, when I first saw it and feel that rush of excitement, that I felt, way back then.
Here is a photo of the top part, of the eagle's neck and the crack.
Here are pictures of my Husky Sandlor, who helps me find vams and jumps up on my back, when he spots one. Bert

My God. 2019 is shaping up to be "The year of the 54B"... Do I smell a "54C" discovery with a heavily displaced crack showing a 1/16th" to 1/8" gap of metal fully bisecting the reverse from rim to rim?!

That's a great one, Bert! Sandlor is beautiful and intelligent to help you hunt for VAM's.
