Name this Vam, answer 1921 S Vam 15E

There are at least 7 maybe 8 1921 S Bean Bottom S’s: Vam A thru F & Vam 30.
The Vam 15E comes in two types. The first has an I clash that is bold & deep Clashed.
The pic above is of this type. I have a 58 holder & now this one in a 63 holder.
The second type is past polished version where the I clash is far less visible.
I have an Au & there is one in a NGC 64 holder that is on SSDC as hidden or unclaimed.
Yes, the Vam 15E and Vam 1B are kissing cousins and did meet up in an after hour SF party.
Seems, there were many after hour party’s in SF that first started April 16/17 1878 &
I believe these partys continued with their sibling into 1921. 🤪

For the people that have not ever seen an early die state of the 1921 S V-15E, the difference between an EDS and the some what run of the mill V-15 E is mind blowing. Forget how rare the EDS really is, its the depth of the "I" clash that is utterly amazing. This is also compounded by 1 HUGE FACT..... THE OBV of this coin is the Obverse used in all ThornHeads!

You're correct on much of what you said.
However, the following if off base.

It is not the only MS EDS Known. My PCGS MS-62 in the SSDC is an EDS and was posted on the old VW.

Sure wish we could view VW1 for all the “historical info”.
Much of your & my research is tied into those pages.
Sure wish we didn’t having to re-inventing the wheel.

Been chasing the Beans for a number of years now and will be sending them all
To JB to figure them all out. I’ve got a number of Bu 63-65’s that don’t fit into
The 21-s Vam A to F & Vam 30 pattern.

I still like the little bean on the vam 30. Its not rare and can be found in very high grade but its a neat coin!

Looks awfully familiar to me but then, it should. V15E. I still can’t believe this didn’t get it’s own separate listing. Why? Because I sent it in? NO. Because it speaks for itself. A whale of a clash episode.
