2018: 1879-S VAM 104
2017: 1884-S VAM 11A
2016: 1892-CC VAM 2A
2015: None awarded. Several varieties cited as "notable finds." This was the year the 98-O VAM 20 in 64 (now 65) was found, and it blew away discoveries and revisions logged for the year, as it had previously only been known in VF and lower.
2014: 1924-P VAM 8B
2013: 1882-CC VAM 7
2012: 1890-O VAM 33
2011: 1878-S VAM 111
2010: 1878-P VAM 85
2006: 1888-S VAM 13

I can't find the records for 2007-09. @ashmore86 might have these, as he ordered the trophies for them.

2002: (possibly) 1878 VAM-14.20 (Kyle Aber) - memory
2003: (possibly) 1881-O VAM-1D (Larry Briggs) - memory
2005: (possibly) 1895-S VAM-1A (Dennis Halladay) - VAMView #3, March 2006, pp 4-6
2006: 1888-S VAM-13 (Logan McKechnie) - VAMVIew #7, March 2007, page 5
2011: (possibly) 1884-O VAM-5C (Ray Sanchez), became VAM-37A1 - memory
or (possibly) 1878-S VAM-111

So it bears repeating that the 1888-S VAM 13 was the first SSDC VAM of the Year. The finds from earlier years are impressive without question, but if the set is for the awarded VAMs, these should be out

2005. That 95-S VAM-1A would have certainly qualified as VOTY.

It has bothered me since it was listed though. The mint mark, the star of the variety, is obviously set high and right and not in the normal position. Why it was designated 1A is perplexing.

No, nothing with even slight differences. But finding examples to examine are very, very scarce.
