good people

Post by ljs123 » Sun Feb 03, 2019 1:43 am

Hello All,
Just wanted to say that there are some good people here. Some I know, but most I have not had the pleasure.

I went to a regional coin show today and got together with a VW friend. That @#$%^&*() guy showed his true colors today.
He smiled and handed me a top pop clashed G and wouldn't take anything for it.
That's the @#$%^&*() sort of people that loiter around here.
THANKS BUDDY :!:
:D

blh74, you are one that I don't know. But we can start. :P
I know I haven't been posting much lately, so maybe there are many out there that don't know I am a super fan of the clashed Gs. I have the top set in the SSDC, and second is not very close.

So this @#$%^&*() guy knew how much his top pop clashed G would mean to me. And he wouldn't take a cent for it. What a nice guy. That coin means a lot to me and so does his friendship.

We had a good day together, and had a nice time catching up. For our get together, I got my strongest clashed coin out of the SD box, and he is the first one that has held it and looked at it in hand since I got the coin.

Maybe it will help if I translate my excitement over getting another top pop clashed G.

What a POS. Don't ya just hate people like that?
I like context clue games, so I'll guess the initials JH might be involved?
I know for sure it's not JG... can't squeeze blood from that stone. ;)

Nicely done.

I thought you were pissed off at your friend. Glad you are really friends. I love those G clashes too. Congrats on your sets.

Well it's clear that when I'm excited about getting a special coin, my humor doesn't translate well to others.
Sorry to all that may have misunderstood.

John is a super nice guy. Any one that knows him, knows that you he wouldn't do anything that would make you mad.
Most importantly, I hope John knows that I was very happy and excited about his generous act. In no way was I ever upset with him.
I hope I did not hurt his feelings. :(
