It seems like the least expensive "set" that you could build.

Aside from the 1900 o/cc, what are the most significant New Orleans VAM's?

I'd call the 88-O Scarface (VAM 1B) and Hot Lips (VAM 4) the most significant. You can see both with the naked eye at arm's length in the dark.

I like the:

1897-O VAM-6A (findable), good luck finding a VAM-6B
1899-O, any micro o
1901-O Many good clashers to choose from. But I like the VAM-34
1902-O VAMs-8, 26A, 45A and 54. Take your pick.
1903-O VAM-4A
1904-O VAMs-4B or 28A

You made me look at the SSDC population of the 97-O VAM-6B.
There are only 3.
I just added the third one last year. I've got the lowball VG-08.
