Re: The Speech...
Congratulations Rob.
And thanks for sharing your story.
One of my fondest memories is when you helped me sort out the differences between the 1889-P Bar Wing VAM-19A and VAM-22.
Unfortunately personal responsibilities have taken me away from my coins in the last couple of years, and will probably continue to do so for the next few.
But I cannot recall any activity that has been so rewarding in terms of camaraderie and intellectual stimulation.
Thanks again.

I am too lazy and forgetful to login to the SSDC and see what your set looks like. Hard to believe(and yet not) that you are first to complete the set. You sorta had a head Start by creating the list but there are some deep pocketed and aggressive folks out there. Congratulations!

Thanks Ed! I'm not sure which other set is new, but we're now officially the 3rd most popular SSDC registry set!!
Rabbit, half of my set IS circulated... my WOW! lowball set has 200 and some odd points!

Hey Squirrel, thanks for bumping this to the top again. Thanks for writing The WOW Book and congratulations being 1st and still only one to completed the set.
Below, are pics from three 1921 Vam 29A , 29B and 29C that LVA inspected and attributed,
Here are his finding:
The first is the LVA attributed 1921-S Vam 29B with the I clash, Rev swirls and crack to the wing tip (Right).
So my furry friend, from page one of this thread, pictures of your Vam 29A is actually a Vam 29B and a WOW list Vam.

This is LVA attributed 21-S Vam 29A. There is an I clash and crack goes to bottom O in OF. There is no polished swirl. This is also a WOW Vam and should be in the Book.

Re: The Speech... and the end of a long road!
For S&G’s here is a 1921-S Vam 29C LDS. The I clash and swirls have been polished away. The Rev crack extends into the M of AMERICA. So, no I clash so not worthy for the WOW book.
On another note, Morganman, why don’t you be an addition to the Vam World community
And take it upon yourself to do a research project or publish a finding to advance this community knowledge.

I know the passion needed to complete the guide was intense. Well done !! No one could have worked harder to earn that keep. While your set is 100% filled, I doubt it will stop you from the quest of the " WOW " list coins
