Greetings from FUN!
Greetings from FUN!
Pete organized a big VAM dinner at a local Italian steakhouse tonight. "Had a great time, wish you were here," and all that.

This sort of event is typically a show highlight for those who attend them. Together with VAM Thing on Friday, this makes FUN a great show to attend, even if only for the fellowship.

It would be"FUN" to be able to meet everyone and put names to faces. Tougher to get there when you live closer to the CC Mint.

Been a few years since I’ve seen some of those faces, but I think I also see a Raynat in the group! Nice to see all of you folks... yeah, I wish I was there as well...

Re: Greetings from FUN!
Yesterday was more mingling on the floor than cherrypicking for many of us as people were rolling in. All I was able to get so far is (all BU) 83o v1C2, 83o v36A (toned), 78s v5 DMPL, 2x 78s v6 PL & 2x 85p v1D... Nothing too special so far but I plan on hitting it harder today, if possible, between meetings, presentations, VAMthing and everything else.

Would love to be there, but have never been able to go. To those who are lucky enough to be there, enjoy the time and camaraderie and good luck on the bourse! Looking forward to seeing everyones' picks in the coming days!
I swear, someday I will learn how to grade Peace Dollars!

Nice to see a few familiar faces from when I attended FUN a few years back. Good luck with the pickin' and thanks for keeping those of us that couldn't be there updated.

Well, I did just get a nice 52A too

...and an unattributed 83o which has some of the strongest roller lines, on both obverse & reverse I've ever seen.

Re: Greetings from FUN!
I was trying to recover from being sick and did not want to stay out late and spend a lot on dinner, so roger and Sandra bradshaw, david close and 2 of his friends and I hit @siam thai. Food was great and so was the conversation, and we probably finished before the rest of the gang got their food.
