Correcting incorrect 1891-S VAM-3 Die #3 comments?

Was a bit taken aback when I was on the http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... 91-S_VAM-3 page and saw a couple statements that I don't believe are accurate.

Why? Because I submitted the Die #3 coin to LVA and he said things that are different than what are now on the variety page.

Specifically he wrote:

Confirmation of die #3 from LVA Nov 2021.JPG (22 KiB) Viewed 155 times

There is no mention of what is stated in the Reverse Die 3 - Die Marker commentary of "This is the LDS of 1891-S VAM-3.1."

Plus, there are clear pictures from me and on the webpage that the statements right before the FCPs are not correct:

"Die 3
Comment - Die 3 may become a revision of Die 1.
This reverse has doubled arrow feathers and no die polish line through trust."

I'd agree that the current FCP for die #3 doesn't show a line up to the trust, but my DC does - and I'm happy to replace the current photo with my coin.

Any suggestions on how I/we might/should correct the mistakes? I'm happy to do so but don't want to go ahead without a bit more discussion.

Posting a picture of the marker from your example to this thread would be a good start.

Reading thru all this, it looks like someone found matching markers between the Die 1 and Die 3 reverses. I'd want to see all three dies side by side to confirm or kill the listings.
I think the entire listing needs a revision. We are trying to get away from this Die 1 , 2 and 3 etc business. If it's two or three nondescript reverse dies paired with a remarkable obverse, what's wrong with simply noting that and not splitting the listing?

Don't know if this will help or not but I have a 91-S V3 (AOH) in PCGS 64PL and it has no line through the S in "trust". Left, center or right of the S in trust.
