Beating to a Different Drum LOL

Even when a youg boy, i was super independant and had opinions/goals outside the normal box
My folks kinda liked my direction but warned me to always stay within the law and within a so called
straight line.

This brings me to collecting Morgans. I have always loved buying bulk Morgans on the cheap.
After learning more about coins, i was amazed to find that no taxes were charged on Numismatic
buys/sells, so that was it for me, as i decided to put my profits/extra bucks into coins & non taxable bullion

A huge deal not to have to pay Uncle Sam on profits made and a great learning curve on privcy etc
Right up my ally as why deal with the beaurcracy of government /taxes & all the bullshit if not necessary
When i sold real estate or profited from trading commodities or stocks, i had to pay taxes, so that stuck in my
craw and i put the remaining funds into hard assets, Non Taxable. What a windfall to be able to make a buck
and actually keep it.

As stated before i never did completely buy into the Vam hype, so rather i bought common say ms64-65-66
PCGS/NGC slabs as a savings acct. I bought thousands of ms65 for around $70. I also loved buying common
ms65/66 DMPL for around $300-$500.

Any way i never got into liking/collecting 1878 s Long Nocks as it seemed the hype was to hot LOL
Turns out tons of LN collectors lost their ass, never to recover, and ended up selling in discust
Sorry for them as other particular vams really got clobbered as well.

I started collecting the silver rounds in 1956 at Bank of America . Only 1 or 2 coins a week.
I was a busy guy back then paper route , help clean classic cars and work in the corn fields .
What VAMS.. The bank tellers would give me the best Morgan's and Peace Dollars . AU to MS64 .
