Auction this Monday. Good opportunity to catch those caught off guard by the Queen's funeral.

IMHO- Heritage is really to
p notch, doing business with all facets of Numismatic industry
My Heritage buyer, Jim Stoutjesdyk (cringe every time i spell it) tells me of gaining
customers continually and buying huge amounts $$ of coins at shows etc

They go way bejond normal to make it happen properly
Happy to see designated auctions to vam and pl/dmpl Morgans
Helps all concerned that they accepted VSS/JB attrib Morgans as well
Other auction companies were forced to accept VSS, from competition stand point
IF TPG services were run like heritage, the industry would be much better off

It was a well "attended" auction. Pretty strong prices for the genuinely scarce stuff. One lot, I can't remember which, was up to $900 before the voice could finish saying "$360". I came away with a cool one, but I paid for it.

Very cheap afternoon.

Watched from the sidelines; saw the 78-S V72 in P35 sold for $6600 with juice.

I got one nice 8 tailfeather coin that I had wanted for years. Laughed at the PCGS EDS Scarface prices, but lost the reasonably priced ANACS Harrison 1B.H3. It was turning into a bidding war and I really didn't want to push it any higher. Hope somebody here got it.

The auction is very professionally done. Of course, the 35% additional fees involved, ie: buyers premium, sales tax, shipping and handling and credit card fee makes the win less enjoyable, which is why I prefer coin shows.

I was impressed with the 80-O VAM 6D auction price. Probably need to update VAM Value Guide on that one.
I did pick up the 83-O VAM 36A PCGS 64. I have one of these already but not attributed on label and this one is better looking.
The 88-O VAM 1B that went for $2880 I still cannot comprehend. The others PCGS VAM 1B's in the same grade went for around $600-700 range. These are common to find for a couple of hundred $ on the bay. I don't get it.
I may not be the best, but I do not know anyone better.

It seems Heritage has largest client base known in industry, which lends to maximum exposure
A crazy high price for a individual coin is pretty common nowadays at these auctions,
and theres no way to figure why in most cases. Conversly sometimes a well known higher $$
coin fails to bring even wholesale minus money, but overall it seems to even out

Concerning buyer fees, taxes etc, the buyers include all this in their max bid, i hope !!
Lately the tax deal is terrible and also unfair as states withot tax like oregon, buyers get a
given percentage % advantage, which really adds up on multiple purchases
Even though im in oregon, the setup stinks and i hope is adjusted somehow to be fair

Another biggie was the 79-S VAM 66 in VF Cleaned for $2640.

Bid on four coins & got stomped hard on three of them. The one I did win isn't earth-shattering, but it does move one of my sets closer to completion.

To All
Yep I got blown out of the water on my bids . LOL ,But still got the info for what they are value wise . Part of learning the values on some of these VAMS . I was surpirised the VAM44 went to those levels on the MS62 one , I didnt expect such a strong market on that one ( Pre Bidding ) . The 66 I got blown out of water , just wanted a duplicate Now I know the value of a cleaned one of that VAM , The 72 I also got blown out of the water on . No wins in that auction , but I was happy that it showed a stong market for some Rare Vams .

I made a purchase for my die set that was generally unnoteworthy.
But I wish to inform others that there was a conflict in payment involving a promised voucher from 6 months ago..
It was resolved in a few hours by competent and dedicated employees. Including the one that made the promise.
Less concern I give to perfection, than how mistakes are corrected.
HA has my approval for correcting mistakes.

Yeah I bid under 400 for that one. No budget; did not expect to win; results were what I sort of expected.

As KING of Numismatic Auctions, Heritage continues these type of auctions, values received
in general will increase, simply from so many buyers/bidders. Vams really needed this
exposure, so i say Hooray-Kudos to all involved.

Thrilled, as im selling tons of these type of coins. It makes it quite fun to sell and realize
decent money for my silver disc girls LOL.
Withot Heritage, Numismatics would be screwed, but the buyer fees all total are a sham IMHO
Unfortunately, folks at Heritage dont work cheap, as even taco bell employees start at $15 hr
which equates ro $2400 month gross. I remember when $4.75 hr was a bunch. LOL
