Time to Get Real FS at Auction

Post by LateDateMorganGuy » Wed Jan 12, 2022 10:15 pm

I have a few coins to sell as follows. Prices are from the newly released SSDC Price Guide, discounted somewhat from the retail prices. I will pay shipping. Any attributions not on the holder are guaranteed. I am not good at taking LFCPs, but I can try if you want. None of the coins are toned, UNO.

Super CD Coins:
1902-O 26A PCGS AU58 NAOH, $300
1902-O 26A PCGS MS62, NAOH $750. Not really toned but some grunge on it.
1902-O 26A PCGS MS63, NAOH $1,200.
1902-O 26A PCGS MS63, NAOH $1,200. Minor peripheral toning in the field close to denticles.
1902-O 26A ANACS MS63, AOH $1,200
1902-O 26A ANACS MS63, AOH $1,200
1902-O 26A ANACS MS63, AOH $1,200

Kimpton 12 Coins:
1902-O VAM-45A ANACS MS60 Details, Cleaned (Lightly IMHO), AOH, $800
1902-O VAM-45A ANACS MS63 AOH, $2,000
1902-O VAM-45A NGC MS63 NAOH, $2,000

PM if interested.

Have an interesting 1902-O VAM-54 Hit List 40 (NAOH) Doubled Ear in a PCGS 63 holder labeled with "Laminated Planchet Obv". Will take $600. Shipping on me.

I have two more 1902-O VAM-3 Micro Os FS, I can try to take LFCPs upon request.

1. 1902-O VAM-3 ICG AOH Counterfeit holder in AU50. VAM Value Guide is $300. I will take $250.
2. 1902-O VAM-3 VSS holder and attributed, but not graded. It is slightly better than the ICG coin, so I will say AU53. VAM Value Guide is $400. I will take $350.

PM me if interested. Add $10 for USPS Priority mail with insurance and signature confirmation.

Re: Counterfeit 1875-CC Trade $ FS

Post by LateDateMorganGuy » Wed Jan 26, 2022 8:55 pm

Got a 1875-CC Trade Dollar which was declared by ANACS to be counterfeit several years ago. It is raw, but looks high AU with minor cleaning lines. The cleaning is not particularly distracting. Forgot I had it. So I will throw it out there at $100 OBO. You pay $10 S&H. PM me if interested.

colwillys, if you decide that 1875cc isn't what you expected, I'm interested.

Let’s try some clashed Es. None of these will challenge Russ James’ Clashed E Registry Set. Several are hole fillers, while several may fill that tuffie hole. These were freshly extracted and brought up to daylight from the Scott Dungeon.

1. 1878-P VAM-84A Super CD. ANACS MS63 yellow holder AOH . Some light brown toning on right side of obverse, otherwise pretty clean. $180.
2. 1878-P VAM-84A Super CD (NAOH). ANACS MS63 in old white small holder AOH. Very light brown toning around the perimeter on both sides, typical for old ANACS holders. $180.
3. 1880-P VAM-39A Hot 50. ANACS AU50 in old small white holder AOH. Very minor light brown toning around the perimeter typical of old ANACS holders. $200.
4. 1880-P VAM-33A. ANACS AU55 in blue “quick release” holder AOH. White both sides of coin. $800.
5. 1884-P VAM-2A Hot 50. PCGS MS62 AOH. Coin is white both sides. $130.
6. 1886-O VAM-1A Top 100. ANACS AU58 old small white holder AOH. Single clash. Very minor light brown toning around perimeter on both sides typical of old small ANACS holders. $500.
7. 1887-P VAM-1B Hot 50. ANACS AU55 Details, Obverse Liberty Cheek Scratched AOH. ANACS “quick release” blue holder. No toning. $700.
8. 1888-O VAM-1A Top 100. NGC MS63 VAM-1A3 (NAOH), but VAM-1A is AOH. White both sides. $300.
9. 1889-O VAM-1A2 Top 100. ANACS F15 in old small ANACS white holder AOH, Details, Cleaned, Rims Damaged. No toning just normal circulation grit. $800.
10. 1889-O VAM-20A Hot 50. ANACS VF30 Cleaned in old “quick release” holder AOH. No toning, just minor circulation grit. $75.
11. 1891-O VAM-1A Top 100. PCGS AU55 AOH. VAM-1A1 (NAON). Normal minor circulation grit for a AU55. $350.
12. 1891-O VAM-3A Hot 50. ANACS AU50 Details, Cleaned, old ANACS small white holder. VAM-3A1 (NAOH). $200.
13. 1891-O VAM-3A2 Hot 50. ANACS EF40 Details Scratched-Cleaned in blue ANACS “quick release” holder, AOH. No toning. $125.

PM me with questions. I suck at LFCPs, but can try by using my cell phone, but you will need to PM me your email address. Add $10 for USPS Priority Shipping. If you want Signature Confirmation, add $3.50.

While I am at it, let me offer a wannabe expensive close miss Clashed E.
1889-CC VAM-4 Clashed Dies. ANACS EF40 yellow holder. This coin visited both John Roberts at ANACS and Leroy hoping for a VAM-4A attribution, but no Bueno. It is the closest you will get to a VAM-4A without it actually being one. Will take $2,900 and I will include S&H and Insurance.
