eBay Managed Payments Restriction

I hope it's OK if I posted a question for Mrs. Neals. She is an ebay seller using their "managed payments." She tried to list some coins for sale (not Morgans) but the listing was rejected. "No coin sales are allowed using manged payments."

I really don't know much about ebay selling procedures, but I thought they were trying to push everyone away from paypal and into managed payments.

Can anyone explain, and, what's the best way to sell coins on ebay?

As a former seller and still a little, I am interested in an answer to this question. I have no idea what it is. When eBay first was talking about it I called them on the phone. The guy assured me it would never limit coin or bullion sales. eBay lies I reckon.

I signed up and don't believe anything has changed for me. No problems selling coins.

My guess is that some buyers are speculating on metals market prices.
If it goes South, they want a refund.
Ebay wants PayPal to be on the hook.
Just a guess.
