Even wear.
Even gray surfaces.
Remarkably problem-free.
Grade on holder is F12, but looks VG10 to me.

Not many of these were ever graded to begin with and just 51 total examples are now in the ANACS population report. Hugely expensive once upon a time, before the three major grading services blacklisted them in 2005. The record F12 price in the VAMview Index of Prices Realized is $1,515 for a PCGS coin on eBay in April 2005.

I have had one for about 25 years. It looks just like yours in condition. It is raw. May I ask how much yours sold for?

I traded micro-o(all ANACS aol) a 96-o(xf-40), 00-o(g-6),00-o(xf-40), & 02-o(vg-10) for a PGCS AU-53 88-o hot lips a couple of years ago. I hated to get rid of the 96-o because I got that in the 70's and was the 1st variety I found and got me started into VAMS then for now over 40 years.

No need to feel bad Mark. This coin sold within about an hour of me posting it here.

Before I listed it here it had been in preview viewing for the Heritage Morgan PL-DMPL-VAM auction that is running now. Right before the auction went live Heritage decided to pull the coin, I guess because it has a policy (??... they didn't say anything about why) about not auctioning the known counterfeit Micro-O dates, even those that are in TPG holders. :(
