An actual 1804 Dollar!

Post by messydesk » Wed Aug 19, 2020 1:43 am

Made in 1804 for circulation in 1804, worth a dollar in the US in 1804. Worth more now, though. $110 shipped and it's yours. SOLD

worth a dollar in the US in 1804.
Well, it wasn't legal tender until the congressional act of April 10th, 1806.
But it's a pretty example of an eight reales!

Technicalities, technicalities. It may not have been legal tender, but it was still used as a dollar.
