Just bought a ANACS yellow holder 1885 64 cameo DMPL from e bay
Bobpaulrarecoinscom Sightwhitecom = card says " The New National Standard"
Much like CAC== not a TPG Sells coins with sticker applied= W
The one i bought is superior in every way
Maybe Mr Paul can give CAC some competition

Best as I can tell it's a basement gimmick. Guy just slaps stickers on any slabbed, untoned dollar that passes through...
He's been good for trickeration in the past, I think he even had himself a grading company at one point.

Bob Paul is a fairly well known dealer in silver dollars and other coins. He's also the one to go to if you want to buy a 4th edition VAM book, I think. As for it being a "new national standard," it sure doesn't seem that way based on where you do and don't see these coins being sold.

I consider it street corner marketing hype and don't even bother to look more closely.

As they say uses the Grading services ANACS NGC PCGS .. Stickers just take more money out of your pocket and
your collecting money . Most stickers are BS .

I agree with Dennis. The problem is that a coin may be white when holder & when the sticker goes on, but "surprize toning" (from inadequate rinsing after being dipped) is a real risk with coins in new holders. Hence the value of buying coins in older holders.

I saw several of these plus there was a table at the ATL ANA back in Feb. Me, all white coins are nice, but so are nicely toned ones.
