Mark
Thanks for the Compliment on my set on PCGS , Yours is Excellent as well !!!
Yep we are in the same boat on looking for a few hard to get coins !!!
Well Im sure we both will get them , just got to keep on searching .
The Non attributed stuff is still out there , we just go to keep looking !!!
I guess its all part of the Challenge and it makes it worth it when we find it !!!
One day we both will have the set at 100% and in the top 5 !!!

I don' t have anything in the PCGS registry; I'm too frugal (cheap?) when it comes to try to cross stuff, so I stick with just SSDC registry sets. I try to acquire PCGS plastic when I can, but most submittals go JRs way since I am so specialized, even with die states that LVA won't list. Got a neat EDS attribution on a V188 from JR. Anyway, good job on your PCGS sets!!.

Forget about 130C2; does not exist; “discovery coin” is really a C3.

Tall order for any of these! FYI; V226 comes un-clashed and there is a lightly clashed version w/o letter transfer so it won't be a 226A. BTW, don't forget 215 for the C set

Best wishes on the hunt in 2021! V85 & 86 are on several folk's want lists here.

So 225 is very tough; only found one in the wild, and I saw an Old holder ANACS MS 63 that was in the registry at one time in a prominent set that is no more that was not what the label attribution said; pre JR. The author of the Official Guide to Reverse of 1879 Varieties told me to use the die scratch off the L as a PU point as the line in the back of the eye is sometimes tough to see; worked for me! V226 plain is very tough, I'm thinking the clash came early, not that 226A is easy either. 228.4 another scarce one although I have seen a few XF-AU put up on Ebay over the years. Last is the one that sort of shocks me; when I bought the discovery coin from Mike Andrew quite a number of years ago, I never thought it would be the rarity it is. A two-coin (V230.1 & V230.3) lot was offered up on HA in 2013, but have seen no other 230.1 for sale anywhere. I was an under bidder back then, but did not need either coin. Me, I'm still hoping to upgrade my 228.4, 228.5, and 230.2...

Keep up the hunt!
