Wanted - 1878 8TF Rarities

Just tossing out there that I am a buyer of a few 8tf Rarities. Look for affordable (in context to cost of a top pop) coins to add to my sets. I understand these are not cheap and will certainly pay for the coins I need. Specifically looking for:

14.7
14.11
14.12
14.17
14.19

Dennis, appears from the pics to be correct, will see in hand. I won't comment on the 14.11 listed with the same seller since its an active buy it now.

Congrats, if it was in a PCGS holder I would have grabbed it.

Yes I have the same feelings on the NGC vs PCGS on Ebay , The NGC stuff is not a slam dunk
to cross to Ebay , and of course you buy the coin not the holder , but on Ebay the photos
are sometimes not really that good . LOL . Heck some of the dealers websites photos arent
that good and still its a Gamble when we are searching for VAMS . LOL .
So in a Nut shell the NCG crossover to PCGS isnt a sure thing and still a Gamble and of course the price we have to pay to cross over a High Grade coin is costly, the premium PCGS
charges to cross over sometimes gets you . LOL . But it just all part of the factors we have to
consider . Part of the challenge .

And I hear you about not being patient sometimes ( With coins) , I also fall into that category .

Yeah, I didn't like the look of the coin and was nervous if it would cross. It's just too much $$ for me to risk the coin not crossing to PCGS. I'm sure it could be resold and not take much or any loss but the heart break factored in for me. Having a super rare coin that I can't add to my set would be extremely frustrating.

I hope this coin crosses without any issues though. Wish I could have been the one to grab it. I had my finger on the button!!

Coin received today and looks much better in hand with a lot of underlying luster. Attribution is correct and I think it will cross, but we will see. Overall happy with the purchase on a rare coin.

Happy to say that the 14.20 crossed to PCGS in the same XF45 grade. Also had an ANACS 14.18 in XF40 cross at the same grade as well.
