Numismatic Premiums

So we all know price values have been drifting lower, but it can be crazy with offers on great
coins very frustrating. I just received cash offers for some stellar Gold Indians & Highgrade dmpl Morgans

Amazingly/frustrating to see major major dealer making un reasonable offers, say way below whsle
My last cash sale, I feel was ok, for the super coins i sold but this is ridiclous. Maybe they hit a inventory
glitch. I let them know i was not happy & wouldnt sell at those stupid minus whsle numbers.

I've been doing this for yrs and never so frustrated. Coins i bought way cheap and always make
money, would lose a bit. E bay is a joke for selling anything over $300-$500
I am pissed and suspending all further purchases, even if the deal looks fantastic.
I believe prices will continue to plummet- boy - if gold goes south -watch Numismatics premiums
take a beating. SCARY- Nothing new but continued decline is a eye opener

Worse than price declines comes the word " I'LL Liquidity" which is the main deal killer/problem
Guaranteed - if i cant make money- most others are in a real hurt, with overhead, travel, expenses
SAD- but sigh of immediate times were in- Only consistent winners are Auction Houses and TPG

Just facts IMHO- Guess i will cease and desist purchasing and go on extended vacation LOL

This is a sad time. Well, I think your vacation idea is very sound. The High Desert is very nice this time of year. The low desert, Palm Springs, is already full of Canadian Snow Birds. Come on down. John🐍

This is a happy time, for recently people sold me their 1878s Vams 77, 100, 109 and 111 for cheap, real cheap. I put them in a pile with my other 1878s Morgans.
