Good luck on selling that beauty and very smart to take funds and invest in Hi- OH SILVER
Take the rest of your savings and put in silver as well----LOL- but i am a silver nut at these price levels
I learned a vital lesson twice as i bought silver from my real estate sales/profits
First time when i owned a shit pot full at avg $6.50 - offloaded at $32
Second time owned at $18 avg- sold at $48- so it made me rich and i refuse to believe history wont
repeat itsself. Its like pickin a $500 Morgan that you sell for $5000. The thrill of it all

I'm not in the market for a Scarface. Anyone can ask any amount for anything they want at any time, but, if you were just gonna take all the info you got in your "What's it worth?" post, throw it on the floor and take a dump on it, why did you even ask? You do realize that you're asking MORE for your MS63 than the last two MS63+ coins sold for combined, right?

You likely don't need my advice. I usually stay away from this Board. You could be involved in several disposition strategies which I won't get into in this post. But I do agree that the asking price seems high to me, which can be part of several strategies.

Likely you know this already, but if you can't dispose of the coin on this site (and others?) at a price you expect/want, you have at least advertised the coin to folks who may be in a position to buy it from you. Then you could list it with HA, advertise the HA listing here so the folks with interest here know about it, and open bidding to others that frequent HA and not here to try and get a bunch of folks into a real bidding war.

Nice coin regardless, but I won't be pursuing this coin in any venue. Good Luck.

Great job Andy on your Scarface purchase at a price in line with current values.
As far as the price posted on this one above= When collectors /investors/coin nuts
dont need money and love a particular coin they tend to overprice their dandies
Its a built in Hoarding mechanism. LOL

Also; sometimes owners of coins think theirs are worth more than anybody elses.
With vams lacking a decent reputable pricing guide this is bound to happen more
often than not. But those here that are duly informed /are pretty aware of values.
