All three of those are profoundly difficult coins. Other than public auctions -- which can easily be years apart -- it's not an understatement to say that you might get only one chance in your life to acquire a 14.17... and ditto for a 14.19.
When in doubt... don't.

Yes tough vam.
I picked a low grade one in Omaha long time back out of showcase.
PCGS net grade but paid 26.00 for it.
Told dealer it was rare vam.
He said he did not give a dam about vams.
I picked several other vams from over the years.
Wow

I've am very fortunate for the rarities I've already collected and found. I am thankful to several collectors that pointed them out to me or wanted to let them go from their collection. I won't be the best set, but I will certainly complete this one day. I will also say they won't come to market any time soon, ive got another 20 years to complete these, God willing. Jim

What Dennis said. I started collecting VAM's around when PCGS started putting them in holders. Last year I finally was able to complete my only set left, 8 tails. It took awhile and when one of the rare ones becomes available, you don't ask how much. You say I'll will buy it, as you may not have another chance. I missed getting the AU58, 14.17 by two weeks. So I had to settle for a lowly XF40, darn it.

You are welcome , My only advice is don't buy something that you are gonna regret after the sale ....I see stuff while looking for something that I will probably never find sometimes . Thought I would let you know . Best of luck!

Down to needing

14.17
14.19

One if these days. Just putting this message back in the mix. I'll edit the top post to reflect current needs. Thanks for considering me for the next keeper of your rarity. Jim
