A few weeks ago a PCGS 1911-D/D MS-66 went for about $7,600. Mine with CAC and the heritage on the label should go higher.

@colwillys ; Tom, I'm sure it has a long way to go before it's all over. A couple months ago my PCGS 1909-S/S MS-65 didn't really go up until the last few days. But then it took off.

Luck won't have much to do with it for me. I'll get stomped long before the hammer falls on that one. Funny thing is a couple weeks ago I was looking at the CPG. There are 6 Saints listed, and all but one (1909/8) are RPMs that are probably easily cherrypicked for close to type money. I suppose that 6 coin set would be one way to collect Saints.

Are you saying the 1925 DDR is not listed? It should be. Very strong doubling in the feathers.
Also, the 1909-S has more than one S/S variety. The less common variety in high grade brings a strong premium.

I misspoke. They're either RPMs or doubled dies. 09-S/S, 11-D/D, 22 DDR, 25 DDR, 26 TDO.
