Both have the line from the wreath to O in ONE. So does 3CA2, but by that point it has gotten pretty weak.

Greysheet is clueless in this instance on a scale that is beyond staggering.

It is the responsibility of submitters to familiarize themselves with, and fully understand, which VAMs a grading service does and does not attribute. Period.

Looks like mechanical (strike) doubling.

I think this is a 1936-D Buffalo RPM-002 (FS-502). Can anyone confirm or correct?

The gouges next to the bow are secondary PUPs. The HUGE horizontal gouges just above the arrows in the upper tail feathers are the key diagnostic for this VAM.

With all filled letter varieties the degree of filling is incredibly important, so a photo of your coin would be exceedingly helpful.
