Re: 1921-P VAM 58A New Discovery

When i go to vam 58a, I don’t see what it was before. Only the new discovery. I only remember vam 58a for an I clash, not an n clash.

I have had 2 slabbed bu’s that i have put up for sale on ebay over time. Surprised that anyone cared. I thought it was a great coin but no one seemed to care when i found them.

Re: 1878 VAM 14.17 pixs

The a of america is probably from the multiple hubbings. There are tiny die scrathes on the cap band that are unique to this die. Between them and the chip in the ear was all we had to go on with the one i found in vg-fine.

Someone has overwritten the old v58a and put in the vams eliminated, so no one can tell what the old one was and what it was changed to. Why?

Re: 1879 s discovery coins

I have so many urgent picture requests that this is at the bottom of my to do list. I got 6 more coins back from NGC unattributed, and david lange said, “ looked at these coins, and they were either too minor, or not varieties at all.” I only sent coins that were listed on their website as ones they...

Re: FUN Followup

Friday afternoon got me irritated. Had someone call me back to my table to ask prices on 1965-67 special mint sets. Told em. Greysheet is $1 each , I’ll take $20 for the pair. He says, “ I’ll give you $9. I said, greysheet is $10, that’s what i want. He gives mw this, nah, I don’t want em, and walks...

Re: Summer FUN 2021 July 8-10 roll call?

I actually was at my table most of Thursday and half of friday. Got sick of sitting around having people try to lowball me on stupid stuff. Got up and went picking. Picked a bunch of good stuff the week before in Lakeland. Forgot where i buried them.

I had fun at that show! I’ll have to get my book out to remember what i picked. It was freakish looking at the ikes again. The odds of having both coins are small. And the ofd d sheared elleptical sac dollar was interesting.
