Re: O/T on Blanchard Holder coins
I had replied to Tom's post on Blanchard holders above and attached pictures of mine. When I attached them, they were all upright. A couple days later, when I opened the post, my first or the obverse picture was turned sideways. Can anyone please tell me, how to turn it right side up again? I right ...

Re: O/T on Blanchard Holder coins
Hi Tom, It has been so long since I have found any nice coins, I had forgot your name. I remember your picture, on a post awhile back, with your French bull dog, resting on your arm. I found my Blanchard slab, that I knew I had somewhere. I also found this other unusual looking slab MCCS (millennium...

Re: O/T on Blanchard Holder coins
What were the dates on the Blanchard slabbed coins? I just did a search on what they look like and found nothing. I know I have, at least one Blanchard slabbed coin around here somewhere, that I bought many years ago, I think that is why I bought it. I remember the name. I'll try and find it. Do you...

My other 1921 and a VAM 3
While I was trying to attribute my other 1921 vam 1O. I saw my 1921 PCGSMS64, that I was lucky enough to have spotted and bought awhile back. Plenty of good close up pictures, just like I like to see, on the vam 3 page. No question on this one, with the ray over the L, for an R-7 HOT 50 VAM 3. Enjoy...

THANK YOU Gesas and MarkyB
I looked at that vam, but I like pictures and I didn't see the strong clashes, under UNUM, on that vam page.
I think this picture shows, that die chip.
Thanks again, Bert

OT GEM 1914 $20 FEDERAL RESERVE LARGE NOTE
I received this GEM 1914 $20 Federal Reserve large sized note today, that is graded PMG 65. Since I haven't found any nice vams, for years, I thought I would also post some pictures of my 1881 S R-7 vam 54B, that I was lucky enough to have spotted and bought awhile back. I'll add three more close up...

Re: 1881-S repunched mm?
I'm far from an expert, but for what it is worth the bottom right inside of loops, of the 8s both
look tripled to me, on yours.
I saw the vam 58 has tripled 8's, but I'm not sure if the mint mark looks the same as yours

Re: OT 1884 PCGSPR63CAM
Okay I got my old Microtek 5600 scanner out and working and hooked it up to my old Dell PC, with the old Windows XP and took these scans of my 1884 PCGSPF63. It was what I used, when I was finding some nice vams, a long time ago. A good friend had told me about the Microtek 5600 scanner a long time ...

Re: OT 1884 PCGSPR63CAM
Thank you everyone. Yes John, it was delivered Tuesday and it looks even better, than the seller's pictures above. When I saw the smooth mark free, frosted devices, I wanted it. The seller had 100% positive feedback for over 1,000 transactions and said the following describing it; “MORGAN SILVER DOL...

OT 1884 PCGSPR63CAM
I haven't been lucky enough to find any nice vams for years now. I did however just buy this BEAUTIFUL 1884 PCGSPRCAM PROOF CAMEO Morgan silver dollar that I thought was WAY under graded. The pictures are the sellers, because I don't have the expensive camera equipment or the experience to take my o...

Re: I need help with my 1884 CC
Thanks Mike,
Here is a photo, from the vam 3 page of the 1.
Does the top of the 1 look like the 1 on my coin?
Also, all of the lines under the jaw, lips, back of the cap
are not mentioned on the vam 3 page.
Any additional help, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bert
