Re: COVID Business Failures O/T
I've got about 100 clients in 5 states. In 18 years in business, I've had 2 file bankruptcy that my company has lost money on, prior to the last couple months. Since the middle of March, I've received 3. Not sure where this is going but we are re-evaluating all the industries we service. Edited to a...

New definition to buying the holder and not the coin. Wonder how long it will take to hype the sale of them all.

Wanted - 1878 8TF Rarities
Just tossing out there that I am a buyer of a few 8tf Rarities. Look for affordable (in context to cost of a top pop) coins to add to my sets. I understand these are not cheap and will certainly pay for the coins I need. Specifically looking for: 14.7 14.11 14.12 14.17 14.19 Edited to check off the ...

Re: 8TF Die Pair
I've picked 4 out of the 5 with this reverse. Still searching for the big one. But Vampicker is correct, start at the engraved feathers. Does @messydesk (I think) still have the attribution CD's? They were a great tool to learn from and would recommend them for anyone starting out. Jim

If these are ebay pictures, surely not the coin you will receive. Seriously the exact same pics as in NGC.

Re: 1881 O PCGS 64DMPL
Someone is always willing to pay a premium for quality. I've been searching for my perfect DMPL for many moons. Found an 80-s once in 65dmpl that glowed from across the show floor. I asked how much and he wanted little more than double book - I said OK and he then declined to sell it. I guess it bro...

Re: O/T PALLADIUM
Love the perspective Morganman - been reading for a while. I guess I don't understand, why the current spot price of silver if you can't find anyone to sell it for that price? Can't find anyone selling for less than a $3 premium - I'd even take delivery of a contract at the current price. Not saying...

Still a nice problem free 8tf coin with a nice look. I have a few rolls of circ 8tf bought thinking they could be something else. But I have hit a few homeruns too. Jim

Maybe I am seeing things, but I think I see the spiked A on the reverse and doubled 7. I'd call this a Vam 7. Jim

Re: Looking to buy
88-O Au-58 - currently on another auction site and the bid is at $2250.
Another recently sold at auction for $2663 hammer ($2995.88 with buyers premium) 11/2019.
But we've all seen them less than those as well.
