Rolled the dice and came up 7 twice? (77?) no luck involved there, just a keen eyed VAMmer on top of his game.

the last 1891 o made it home, was able to cherrypick due to date position and unlisted gouges. Have only seen a few with the gouges. Needs an acetone bath, but is a decent example.

2nd of the threesome arrived. While it is worn and not the prettiest, when one shows up, I can't pass on this 1891 o VAM.

Nice pick, there's a lot going on in that VAM listing.

I've heard good things come in threes, waiting on a couple more recent picks to arrive. Will post here if they merit a viewing when they make it home.

They are relatively tough in higher grades, my set has an ANACS graded 40 in it. The circulation scratch on the cheek looks much worse than it is, I am hopeful this one will grade as well. But I really like it for the toning.

Just pulled this one from the mailbox.... toning almost hides what VAM it is, but it didn't elude me.

Sounds like a nice haul.... seems more people are selling than buying VAMs anymore. I hit 2 shows in last month locally. Only bought 1 coin for the VAM, a few others just for melt that looked nicer than common melt. I am waiting on a purchase or two from the bay, but finds for my collecting wants ha...

I'll join you in the "no interest" category. I used to maintain complete sets until the mint decided they needed to add a dozen different variations each year. State quarters, the nickel series, varieties of cents, and on and on. It became to much to bother with. I'll just stick to VAMs and older se...

Looking to see if anyone has an example of VAM 14. Not convinced it exists as the photo on the VAM 14 page (http://www.vamworld.com/wiki/1891-O_VAM-14) is likely a 14A later die state. Looking for any help that anyone can provide before I send anything to LVA. thanks, Jon

Was passing some time, looking back at some old threads on here and came across this one, Decided to take the challenge and try to find a VAM 41a. Thought I found one, and it arrived today. NCG MS 62 with nary a die file line. Hope I didn't get it wrong.
