It's creeping up there Lee, I got wiped out last Sunday for it , but it was fun to dream for a day !

They are still creeping up.
Take a look at all the Double Eagles. I have several for sell ending tonight.
@messydesk Is there a misprint on the official listing? The listing says Far Date, but the photo says near date. Congratulations on the DC. Cut and paste error on the discovery letter. The text on VAMWorld is correct. Wow, JB is human. Who knew. But really, thanks for all you do. You’re awesome JB!
@messydesk ; JB, thanks for starting it off. Good luck Luck won't have much to do with it for me. I'll get stomped long before the hammer falls on that one. Funny thing is a couple weeks ago I was looking at the CPG. There are 6 Saints listed, and all but one (1909/8) are RPMs that are probably eas...
keilg1 & UNCLE BINGO ; thanks for your interest messydesk ; JB, thanks for starting it off. Good luck colwillys ; Tom, I'm sure it has a long way to go before it's all over. A couple months ago my PCGS 1909-S/S MS-65 didn't really go up until the last few days. But then it took off. https://www.gre...
If you really want the truth about this coin, send it to JB (aka; messydesk). JB messydesk and JR vampicker are the two that decided what VAM any given coin is listed as. They are THE Morgan authorities. Leroy Van Allen turned the Morgan dollars over to them. JR is the attribution specialist at ANAC...
If you really want to get to the truth, then you should drop the S/D at this point and supply photos that allow us to attribute the VAM. Once we attribute the VAM, we can then look for other examples of that same VAM to compare the letter B. The VAM is irrelevant, but I will give it a shot. I have ...

Sorry, but all I see is common contact marks. It is not an attempt to remove an S over B. I know that’s not what you want to hear. Great work with the close up photo. I don't care what I hear. It is unimaginably clear to me, and I think there has to be an effort to not see it. I came here to see if...

Great work with the close up photo.
Don’t hold your breath on the minimum bid.
A few weeks ago a PCGS 1911-D/D MS-66 went for about $7,600. Mine with CAC and the heritage on the label should go higher.
The coin that I mentioned in a different thread has now been listed on Great Collections. 1911-D/D Duckor/Akers https://www.greatcollections.com/Coin/1348611/1911-DD-Saint-Gaudens-Gold-Double-Eagle-Repunched-Mintmark-FS-501-PCGS-MS-66-CAC-DuckorAkers-Collection I really liked having this one for som...
JB, It is a D/D on the label. Several years ago I purchased this coin unattributed. I sent it back to PCGS to get the D/D on the label. Then I submitted it to CAC. As mentioned by others, the photos on G.C. are not as good as Heritage. If this coin wasn’t labeled as a D/D on the label, I don’t think...
I would rather send coins to G.C. over Heritage. My experience with G. C. has been good. My St Gaudens 1909-S/S in PCGS MS-65 did well. I just sent in my favorite Saint into G. C.
In the near future you will see a 1911-D/D PCGS MS-66 CAC with Duckor/Akers heritage on the label. /
