The holder looks like one of the original PCGS or near original slabs. Could that be the reason it is not registered by PCGS?

This is the 14.16. It has the a1n reverse and strong doubling on obverse. It is on its way to PCGS too.

I too suffer from vamnesia. We know most not all information from crappy eBay pictures, and subconsciously we want to take a chance that our rare possible pick won’t let us down. More times than not,they do. This is the fun and frustration of this hobby.
