FYI
I mailed 13 coins your way today for the 2022 January new PCGS submission. I think you need to start a new thread for this year.

New pick 1889-0 oval 2
This was a recent pick which just arrived in the mail. Nice potentially high Mint state grade. Any thoughts?

Who are the two dudes on the reverse of the $2 bill? I recognize George and Martha, and obviously GW, Lincoln and Grant, but I can’t place the other 2 gentlemen.

Re: SEGS results
I never thought a counterfeit coin could grade 59. I don’t think that MS is even possible, since these coins were produced to be mixed in and circulated. In hand this coin looks 63. It is top of pop on VW registry too.

SEGS results
I sent in 3 coins for my SEGS submission- all 3 are Privately made. These are the 3 Top 100. I received an F-15 for my 1902-O; a VF-35 for the 1896-O; and the exciting news/grade is on the 1900-O. Take a look. I'm quite pleased with the results. JDL_1900_O_V_5_1.jpg JDL_1900_O_V_5_2.jpg JDL_1900_O_V...

Grey sheet Vam Price guide
I know that a new Vam price guide is being created. Interesting development since Some list Vans are now being listed with price listing in the new Grey sheets listings. Are these the same price data or separately created?

8TF ID Help
I picked this one up after seeing the recent Vam 14.17 thread and pictures. Dennis , take a look if you would please. I see the a1c reverse with the eye blob and ear blob as well. Here are the first 5 pictures. JDL_1878_P_V_14_17_1.jpg JDL_1878_P_V_14_17_2.jpg JDL_1878_P_V_14_17_3.jpg JDL_...

Re: SSDC set registry question- Rotated dies
I would have no problem requiring pictures to verify the authenticity of the rotated set. Unfortunately, if people want to deliberately misrepresent their coins in any set, without the full picture requirement, the authenticity of any set is questionable.

SSDC set registry question- Rotated dies
This might be a John Coxe question. I had a nearly completed Morgan rotated die set. I no longer see it , or anyone’s. John, could you please recreate the rotated die set if you somehow deleted it? Thanks.

Re: Counterfeit or what?
The holder looks like one of the original PCGS or near original slabs. Could that be the reason it is not registered by PCGS?
