Re: new version of 1921-P VAM 3FD
Great photos! And I really like the heavy die polishing lines contrasting with the "smudge"!

Re: 1924 Bar D
Please consider putting on the appropriate pages WHAT the difference between the two is. We have delisted nothing - "screwing with" is a little strong. It is all there. We have "prompted a conversation" and hopefully we can improve the pages so we no longer run into questions about them.

Re: 1924 Bar D
It is there because it has not yet been officially delisted. That must be done by JB &/or JR (John Baumgart / John Roberts). In order for that to happen - they need it to come to their attention - with the rationale for delisting it presented in a way that convinces them that it is the right thing t...

Re: 1878s Top 30 Rarity List
I am the SSDC registry police right now. Removing a coin from the SSDC registry does not delist it any more than removing it from VAMworld 2.0 (& anyone can do that (at least once...)). I am trying to keep the registry VERY close to the official listing regardless of what I think. Delisting is hard ...

Re: 1878s Top 30 Rarity List
Good to hear 51.2, 71, & 90 do exist!! I would like to see the others disappear but it is really not possible to PROVE that something does not exist.

Re: 1878s Top 30 Rarity List
To add mud to the already muddy issue - There are 8 listings that have an SSDC POP of 0 (1878-S VAMs-11, 12, 25, 54, 61, 67, 85, & 94). Personally, I do not believe they exist - cataloguing errors. Then there are the unique listings of which there are 4 (1878-S VAMs-1, 51.2, 71 & 90). Again, I do no...

Re: 1904-P VAM-6A page needing correcting
I have confirmed that the pictures are of the 1904-P VAM-6A discovery piece. LVA mislabled the photos way back when... I have relabled said pictures and updated the page. VAM-on!

Re: one of a kind GSA?
I did not know the US governent ever put a counterfit in a GSA (albeit a soft pack) holder until I saw this! Very cool. There was a 93-S at the same show (Denver) in the soft pack. It was at a different table but....

? Has anyone ever seen a
? Has anyone ever seen a 1902-S that did not have the 2 berry reverse (C4/C3)? The VAMs 1, 2 & 4 are listed as having C4 reverses. My VAM-4 was attributed by LVA but it clearly has the C4/C3 reverse (as well as a near date).

My favorite has to be an ANACS oops (Vintage). Any more you need to get up pretty early to catch ANACS like this.

1885-S conundrum
1885-S VAM-1 (1885-S VAM-1A), 1885-S VAM-2 (1885-S VAM-2A) & 1885-S VAM-7 (1885-S VAM-7A) are credited with an EDS and LDS (seen in parentheses). Easy enough. However - they all are credited with the exact same reverse die. Would it not stand to reason that only one of these would have both the EDS ...
