Is the die legal to own in that condition?

I’m bumping this up because I’m interested to know if it is legal to own Morgan dies that are not cancelled.

Can you show a reverse photo of the mint mark from the bow to the lower rim?

Look closely at the feathers again.
It’s not a 14.16
Your photos will get you there.

Have you looked at this page?
You have to scroll down to the 8 TFs.
Look at your last two photos and the 8TFs.

I love your photos.
I can’t ever get photos that nice.
Look at your last two photos.
Do you still think VAM-2 is a contender?

Welcome to VW Woodsy.
Don’t worry about being new here. Keep at it. You’ll get it.
Very nice photos. Do you have a close up of the feathers on the eagle’s left side? Right as you look at the eagle. Both sides are important.

Re: 8 Tail Feather Reverse Images

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or not.
You have to scroll down the page a little to see the 8 TFs.
Hopefully this helps.

Re: 1922S,reverse is vam1Y, Overs looks double, maybe another vam?

I don’t think that this is a 1Y.
The reverse clashing looks a lot like 1Y, but different.
So a different VAM.

Re: 1921-P VAM 58A New Discovery

When i go to vam 58a, I don’t see what it was before. Only the new discovery. I only remember vam 58a for an I clash, not an n clash. Originally, 58A was listed as a clashed n. It had a double clashed obverse and a single clashed reverse. VAM-24B had a clashed I. The 24B obverse was then placed wit...

Re: 1900O, Could it be the new vam?

Okay, I got your VAM-#. Exact date and mint mark locations are very important. Your photos really helped. Date and mint mark locations were told to me many many times when I first started VAMming. Could you take a close up of the eagle's neck wing gap? As you look at the reverse, it is the gap to th...

10A
When you first started working on this coin you had another thread with photos of this coin. You had some photos on that thread that showed the 10A clashing very well.
