Re: Which 1892-S is this?
Yes there is polishing around the obverse portrait, but not nearly to the extent seen in the photos in my first post. Obverse polishing is most evident at the top of the cap under IB, left at the cap fold under S, behind the lower rear of the cap, and in front of Liberty's lips.

Re: Which 1892-S is this?
After looking at photos of the 50 highest auction price 1892-S at Heritage, I think this is going to be a new VAM and I think the broken star between DOLLAR and AMERICA on the reverse is why. I found a duplicate of my coin, including small obverse and reverse cracks that I hadn't noticed on my coin ...

Re: Which 1892-S is this?
Not sure I see any doubling on the date. If there is some it's awfully minor.
And there's something I hadn't noticed before – the star between AMERICA and DOLLAR looks to have had a chunk break out of the die between two of the points near the rim:

I hope this is big enough.
And guess what... circulated used-to-be PLish coins don't photograph worth a darn.

Which 1892-S is this? **UPDATED IN NEW POST**
I've looked at every VAM attribution page twice and still can't be sure about this one; can anyone help? Date position looks like it is far. Date looks slanted. Mint mark looks to be positioned low. Two other interesting things: – Coin looks like it was at least semi-PL when new. (PCGS-45 now). – Th...

Re: Moving Sale II, Low Balls, Counterfeits,Keys and Slabbed!!!!
The 1921-P VAM 14A designation was eliminated, apparently in 2017, but then expanded to 14A1, 14A2, and 14B. The current attribution page for 14A1 has a photo showing a partially/mostly filled R in TRUST, with a caption saying, "at least one example of this variety shows a grease-filled "r" in "Trus...
