Re: Morgan Dollar Discovery Procedure Update
I have a 2021 Morgan with a small CUD on the obverse I would like to submit, but I can't find an email address to the administrator or proper area of this site for submission. Thank you for your help in advance. The 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars are not eligible to be listed as VAMs, as they are co...

Re: Stumped on an 82-S (Dbl. cap & wing)
Start with the date and mint mark before looking elsewhere. The S/S is machine doubling, so ignore that. The 882 in the date has legitimate doubling around the tops of the digits and the first 8 looks to have doubling on the inside left surface of the upper loop. That should get you far. The base of...

Add the Central States one for this Thursday-Saturday.
Thursday 10-7, Friday 10-6, Saturday 10-4. Admission $5/day, $10/3-days. Free parking. Something like 700 restaurants within about 5 miles.

Re: 1883 Small Pox: Is it worthy
Perfect! VAM 14 needs to be listed under the pitted dies guide. Thank you. Best not to rely on the extra guides to find things. Many are good, but they aren't consistently maintained. The wiki has a good search engine that can help find things quickly. Search for "1883-P" (in quotes) and pitting an...

Re: 1883 Small Pox: Is it worthy
1. The cracks you show aren't a match for VAM 1B.
2. Whatever the VAM, I don't see anything warranting listing separately in the pictures.

Re: OT - Trade Challenge
I would like to pose a "Trade Challenge". The two parties involved with this squabble should talk on the phone and do this behind the iron curtain. We are. It is not as much of a disagreement as it may appear to be. BTW, I did check that 1873 VF proof. It weighs out consistent with a genuine Trade ...

Re: 1886 S VAM 4 Listable Break
I see the doubled serifs on the S of VAM 4, so I don't have a reason to say it isn't VAM 4. 86-S only has a few VAMs listed. A die study might show there are multiple obverses with that reverse.

Looks like a challenge, indeed. Thanks for sharing this!
I would be remiss if I didn't point out that you didn't wait long to make the first typo -- on the top of page 1 (after the ToC) in big letters.
