The stage is listed for the breaks. The clash is incidental as you thought
This is what I thought. Thank you for the response and info.

1886-P VAM-1E2 Question

Good Day, I have subject VAM in hand and it does not show a clash line at the neck nor at LW1 or RW1 as shown at the MTP. It does have all the reverse cracks and breaks that are shown/listed at the MTP. Is my coin still considered a 1E2 and are the clash marks just incidental to a particular stage (...

1889-O VAM-2? PMD on mintmark?

Good Day, I picked up this coin from the Bay in the hopes it was a V2. Photos were heavily edited/bloomed, so finer details could not be seen. Upon receipt, I put it under the scope and took these pics. The mint mark is more round than on my 2A, but the center opening looks like it would with an ova...

Re: 1889-P VAM-??

The VAM 45 you concluded looks correct. The die scratch that passes over the surface of TY is a good diagnostic. Doesn't come up often. Thanks for that info and reply. How does one determine a diagnostic if there are no plate photos or comments to reference? Is that based on knowledge/experience an...

Good to know there's a demand for printed supplements.
Last one I have is from 2019. Were there others after that?

Re: "2021" Morgan and Peace dollar imitations from Mint

Everything I'm seeing on these at the US MINT order page says "175,000 product limit, household order limit of 10". Most will be lucky getting 1 of any of them. I'm sure site will crash.

1896-P VAM-6 / 6B

I'm having a hard time differentiating three coins I have as to whether they are a 96P [VAM-6] or [VAM-6B] . The LFCP's on the V6 page look to be the same as the LFCPs on the V6B page. Additionally, I can see no field displacement in the plate photos at the V6B page. I have two coins that match the ...

I didn't finish last night. Will take care of it soon. I want to be careful untying this so that it's accurate and so that the change history of the pages makes as much sense as possible.
Got it. Thank you!

@messydesk Why are the 89P V7 and V23 series VAM page listing not lining up with the September 2020 LVA letter and plate photos? Am I missing something?
