Thanks, David. I do not see any obvious clash marks on the reverse, though as this thread attests I didn't know the marks under the E in LIBERTY were clash marks. I'm assuming they would be in the lower right reverse. Where exactly would it be? Attached are reverse photos for your review.

I would not have thought there could be clashes there, though I am only just beginning to explore Peace VAMs. I wondered about the marks between the rays and thought they had a clashed quality, but the raised marks right of last ray in field look like a gouge.

I have not ever seen lathe lines or bezel damage; for the latter, has anyone seen bezel damage that has multiple rings (5 or 6)? The beveled area under RSVT on 1AB1 appears like a cigar-shaped gouge is a short length. The beveling here is much longer running from the Y in LIBERTY to the 3 in date then narrows to a point just shy of the 9 and does not appear raised but evenly sloped from the rim to the field along this length....

Because I have never seen a beveled field before, I am having trouble determining if this one has beveling at TRVST.

Hmm. While I hate to think the lines were caused by a bezel, that seems to be where this is leading. The lines appear on obv and rev rims. The bezel would have to clamp to both sides.

Thanks for your research, colwillys. I looked online for anything I could find on rim lines and collar clashes, etc., and found nothing. I'm afraid I don't have a scale.
